Kenny and I decided to take the kids to a RoughRiders baseball game; so we grabbed our tickets, packed our bag and grabbed a quilt and headed out to the game as excited as we could be.
We had purchased admission tickets that included two hot dogs and two hats. Of course, Kamryn was not interested in a hot dog, so I took her to the concession stand for her to decide what she wanted; me thinking the menu might help (but, ha-ha). She decided on a pretzel with salt and nachos, but ate neither. She had more fun running around the grass field and dancing than she did keeping any eye on the game. Johnston was fussy and very uncomfortable. He 0nly likes it outside when the wind is blowing. After an hour of saying Kamryn come here, Kamryn please eat your dinner, Kamryn please be a little quieter, etc...and sayin to Johnston; please be happy for five minutes, please let M0mmy eat, etc. we decided to head out and call it a night.
We have now decided against taking them to events like that (we will prob take Kam only unil J is older) where we spend tons of money on food. What made it worth it was Kamryn saying, I love it with Mommy and Daddy at the game. That made the whole trip worth while!!!
