Johnston on the run

Johnston started crawling. Mommy is excited he is moble, but sad that he is growing up. He is twice as nosey as Kamryn was--joy!! We will see if we need to child proof anything. At his nine month appointment last week, he weighed 24 pounds and 14 ounces--not sure how my handsome chunky monkey is so chunky--but he is just precious!

As most of you know, Johnston is about to turn nine months and Mommy is not handling it too well--just means we are close to his first birthday...
He is now saying three words (Mama, Daddy and more--four if you want to count clapping and saying YEAA!!) I have signed with him since he was a newborn and he is now signing back. He signs more and milk. He is getting big, weighing over 20 lbs. I think he will skip crawling (forwards) completly and start walking within the next few months. He loves to scoot backwards and in circles. He enjoys standing along the side of the couch and I know it will not be long until he starts crusing round the sofa. Boys are so much fun, I now understand the Daddy/daughter & Mommy/son bond!!
